Cirrus offers the SR22 in three models depending on the needs of the customers.  Their most expensive and equipped model is the SR22 GTS.  This aircraft has a turbo charged engine allowing it to climb all the way to 25,000 feet.  This option has been added within the last year, along with other improvements.  The cockpit of the SR22 features the Cirrus Perspective Avionics, which are made by Garmin.  The Cirrus Perspective features two twelve-inch LCD screens that are unmatched in any general aviation aircraft on the market.  Another enhancement is that the SR22 can now fly into known icing conditions, which allows for more flexibility when operating the SR22.  This new protection is so pilots will be able to fly in spite of the fact there is ice along their intended flight path.
